I was born in a future that may or may not be. A future where the real heroes died off a long time ago and people spent their whole lives praying for their return. Hell, we could use some heroes, what with the street and corporate predators running roughshod over people every blasted day and night. Sad thing is, I used to be part of the problem.

Me. Miguel O'Hara. Pet whiz-kid of Alchemax, biggest megacorp in New York City, circa 2099. Then I grew a conscience, or rather . . . there were some things even I couldn't stomach. So I tried to quit. Got screwed over. Tried to screw them back. Got powers.
